A man is dead after a shooting last night in the area of Fulton Avenue and Lorimer Street. Police blocked off the area for hours overnight as they investigated. They say calls to 911 reporting gunfire led them to discover the victim, who had been shot in the torso and was pronounced dead at the scene. They're still working on positive identification and notification of his family before releasing the victim's identity. Anyone with information about this killing is asked to call 911.
