Speakers called on people to elect progressive candidates and take control of the United States Senate and the Presidency in 2020. Brighton Supervisor Bill Mohele told the crowd male politicians have no business telling women what they can and can't do.
Rally-goers say the abortion restrictions are an attack on women's rights. The rally was one of several taking place across the nation, organized by the ACLU, Planned Parenthood and other groups.
