The weather forecast is improving, and the Lilac Festival will reopen today at noon. Even though that's 90 minutes later than the usual opening time, all scheduled entertainment will go on as planned.
Grass parking lots will remain closed today; free parking is available at the new Azalea Lot at 1065 Elmwood Avenue until 3:00 p.m. and $5.00 after 3:00 p.m. A shuttle will run from the Azalea Lot to the Festival grounds.
