A suspect in TWO bank robberies has been taken into custody after a chase that went from Gates through the city to Henrietta and Brighton. Greece Police say the suspect was in a car pursued by police to Winton Place, where he collided with a Gates police car and hit a tree.
Police say the man is a suspect in Monday's Greece bank robbery and another bank holdup today in Pittsford. A second person was in the car but is not being called a suspect at this time.
