Mason Earle Found Guilty of Murder

The verdict is "guilty" in the murder trial of Mason Earle.

The jury resumed deliberations this morning in the Hamlin double murder trial, reaching a verdict about noon. They found Earle guilty of two counts of murder and one of arson in the deaths of Alex Burrow and Bruce Kane.

Both men were shot to death behind a Hamlin business and the car they were in was set on fire.

The defense argued that police browbeat Earle into making a confession. Prosecutors said the murder was drug related, and text messages between Earle and one of the victims confirm that.
