Police Step up Patrols at SUNY Geneseo After Intruder Reported at Sorority

Police are stepping up their patrols near the SUNY Geneseo campus because of a report of an intruder over the weekend at a sorority on Wadsworth Street.

A student saw the man in his 40's in the living room at the Alpha Kappa Phi house around 3 a.m. Sunday.

The man left before police got there. Police say the house was not locked.

The university is reminding students and staff to lock their doors, and the Greek houses are being reminded to review their house security and safety plans.
