Anti-Gun Violence Group to Present Action Plan to City Council

A group looking at how to stop gun violence in Rochester plans to present its action plan this week. The 'ROC Against Gun Violence Coalition' was created by city leaders last summer. City Councilman Willie Lightfoot tells 13 WHAM says the group wants to create a "mobile trauma response" unit to help those affected.

Another proposal calls for more intense investigations of every shooting -- treating each one like a homicide. A public meeting to discuss the plan is set for Wednesday evening at City Council Chambers.
