Updates in Brighton Whole Foods Development

There's an update on the ongoing legal challenges to the planned Whole Foods development in Brighton. One lawsuit has been dismissed, and a court has dismissed a separate motion to stop construction. Work to demolish the former Mario's restaurant and Clover Lanes buildings could start next week, but other lawsuits are still pending.

The town planning board has already approved plans by the Daniele family to put the store, and other shops, on their land along Monroe Avenue and Clover Street.

But the opponents say the development is too big and will add to traffic congestion.
