New York Attorney General Candidates Meet in Debate Tuesday

The candidates vying to be the next New York attorney general are working to gain support with the election next week.

Republican Keith Wofford and Democrat Letitia James met in a debate on Tuesday.  They clashed on a variety of issues, including President Donald Trump, corruption, and the death penalty.

James has been endorsed by Governor Cuomo and polls have shown her with a lead over Wofford.

There was a funny moment late in the debate when James didn't know what a "garbage plate" was.
