Rochester Man Accused of Sexually Abusing Minor, Indicted

The Rochester man accused of having a sexual relationship with an 11-year-old over 4 months -- is being indicted by a Monroe County Grand Jury. 

Josue Maldonado-Soto has been indicted on eight counts of predatory sexual assault against a child, and four counts of first degree sexual abuse. 

Rochester Police and the FBI’s Child Exploitation Task Force arrested Maldonado-Soto after they say he used his cell phone to send sexually explicit material to the minor and invite the victim to engage in sexual conduct. The victim is the child of a family friend.

Authorities believe there could be more victims.
