The swimming season is on at Ontario Beach Park.
Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo says the beach is open, conditions permitting, from 11:00 to 7:00 daily. Swimming is only allowed when the lifeguards are on duty.
Water quality conditions can force authorities to close the beach, as can storms. To check on beach conditions call at (585) 753-5887. Even if swimming isn't allowed on a particular day, the rest of the park and the sand remain open.
The swimming season runs through Labor Day, September 3rd.
