U of R Will Review Campus Officer's Conduct Following Incident

The University of Rochester says it will review the conduct of a campus officer who threatened to arrest a man making a video recording of an arrest.

It happened Saturday when the officer was arresting a former student for trespassing. The university says the suspect, Mohammed Rifat, had gained unauthorized access to campus buildings in recent weeks and had been warned to stay away.

In the cell phone video of the arrest, the officer says the man making the recording is "obstructing" a law enforcement investigation and will be arrested if he doesn't leave.
