East High School students will be paying close attention to today's scheduled SpaceX rocket launch at Cape Canaveral.
The rocket will be carrying supplies -- and a student experiment -- to the International Space Station.
The experiment was chosen in a competition last year. It will test how quickly chlorophyll will degrade in microgravity. The students hope to learn how phytoplankton might survive in space without sunlight or gravity.
