Camp Counselor Arrested For Allegedly Sleeping in Wrong Cabin

A camp counselor is facing a misdemeanor charge for allegedly sleeping in a bed with a 7-year-old girl at a camp in Castile.

State police say 20-year-old Nicholas Maroney of Perry was drunk last weekend when he entered the wrong cabin and fell asleep in the girl's bunk at YMCA Genesee/Camp Hough.

He was seen by staff leaving the bed the next morning. There is no report of sexual contact. He's charged with endangering a child.
