A Batavia man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing. Batavia police say JW Hardy the Third was charged yesterday with gang assault in the stabbing early yesterday morning on East Main Street. He was sent to the Genesee County Jail without bail. The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and is in serious condition. Witnesses told police the victim was stabbed by one man and beaten by at least one other man during a fight.
