One of Rochester's havens for vinyl music enthusiasts is shutting its doors. Lakeshore Record Exchange on Park Avenue announced on Facebook it will begin a liquidation sale on Monday. The store is expected to close by the end of August. The store blames technology and the new ways people consume music. The store says it will continue its streaming radio station, AlternativeMusic.com. A farewell event is planned for September.
