Voters in Pittsford School District Approve New Budget

Voters in the Pittsford School District have overwhelmingly approved a new budget.

About 3,100 voters voted yes, and about 1,200 voted no. It was the second attempt at winning voter approval.

Last month, a bigger proposal fell short of the super majority needed to exceed the state's property tax cap. The district then scrapped plans for full-day kindergarten, and the revised budget stays within the cap.
