Rochester Man Being Held Without Bail on Murder Charges

A Rochester man is facing charges he killed a man who was once married to his mother.

Andre Lewis pleaded not guilty to killing his former stepfather, Robert Echols, back in April.

Prosecutors say Lewis gunned down Echols at a youth basketball game in West Seneca with a licensed pistol. Witnesses said prior to the shooting, Echols hit his former stepson, who was holding an infant.

Lewis is being held without bail on murder charges.
