Rochester fire officials say they found a metal drum containing gasoline at a vacant apartment building on Ridgeway Avenue.
Firefighters went there yesterday evening after a report of a gasoline smell. The bomb squad used a robot to examine the building and remove the drum.
Folks living nearby were given the all clear early this morning.
