NY Lawmakers Returning To Albany

New York lawmakers are returning to Albany today after a two-week hiatus.

They've got a lot on their agenda over the next two months, including a bill that would make child marriage illegal.  Right now, you can get married at age 14 in New York with parental consent, but legislation would raise the age to 17.

They'll also consider tightening the ethics code, revising election laws and letting New Yorkers wash down their popcorn at movie theaters with a cold beer.
