Siena College Poll Has Cuomo With 60 Percent Favorability Rating Among New Yorkers

Andrew Cuomo is more popular than ever in his home state.

A new Siena College poll shows the governor has a 60-percent favorability rating among New Yorkers.

That's a two-year high, up from 56-percent last month.  Cuomo also has a job performance rating of 50-percent, up from 45-percent in just a month.

Pollsters say most voters like his proposal to extend the income-tax rate on millionaires and to allow ride-hailing services, such as Uber, to operate upstate.  But, voters aren't so keen on Cuomo's proposal to carve out a 750-mile recreation trail across New York State.
