Rochester, NY -- A Rochester couple is still awaiting official confirmation, but expect that human bones found on island in Panama will be matched to their daughter, who's been missing for nearly two years.
Jim Faust tells WHAM 1180 investigators told him and his wife Friday evening they will use dental records and possibly DNA to identify the remains found this week.
Their daughter, Yvonne Baldelli of California, vanished after traveling to Panama with boyfriend Brian Brimager, who was charged this summer in the U.S. with obstruction of justice in Baldelli's disappearance.
Faust says identification of the remains could come within a week. He says he was told about 90 percent of the bones were found, along with a bag that he was told was larger than a backpack.
