Rochester, NY -- Health officials say a University of Rochester student has contracted the measles. But they aren't saying where or from whom.
Monroe County Health Director Dr. Byron Kennedy says the student showed up at the Strong Memorial Hospital Emergency Room around January 31st with a fever and a rash.
Kennedy says most people who came into contact with the student aren't at risk. People who've been vaccinated, had the disease already or were born before 1957 are immune.
