Rochester Police are investigating a shooting death in the city for the second time in two days.
They say shots were fired last night in the 50 block of Clay Avenue between Lake and Dewey Avenues. West Division officers found a man dead of a gunshot wound.
Beyond saying he appears to be in his early 30s, police haven't released any information on the victim. Neighbors told 13 WHAM they heard at least five shots and then saw a black SUV taking off from the scene.
Police were still on site as of an hour ago and they say the investigation is in its early stages.
Another man was shot to death late Friday night in a convenience store on Lyell Avenue. Police have identified the victim as 21-year-old Samuel Gibson of Rochester but don't have anyone under arrest yet for either crime.
