Rochester, NY -- Carestream is playing a role in this year's NFL combine.
The Indiana hospital handling the player physicals is using a Carestream DRX-1 detector to produce high-quality X-ray exams of the more than 300 athletes.
From the Carestream news release:
"Carestream’s DRX-1 detector equips our staff to efficiently conduct a high volume of chest, orthopaedic and other types of X-ray imaging exams on these players," said Todd Stanley, Administrative Director of Radiology, Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital. "Medical representatives of NFL teams appreciate our ability to deliver exceptional image quality while meeting their need for rapid delivery of these X-ray studies."
