Rochester, NY -- Rochester Business Alliance President and CEO Sandy Parker is delaying her retirement.
She had said in May she planned to retire at the end of the year. But she now says will stay on to oversee several events of importance to RBA members and the community.
She says she sees 2014 as a year of transition in our area. She says the repurposing of Eastman Business Park, progress on major economic development projects in the region, and the impact of the Affordable Care Act on RBA members were all factors that led to her decision.
There had been speculation in recent weeks that Lieutenant Governor Bob Duffy might be interested in succeeding her.
Parker has held the RBA President and CEO post since 2005.
